Photographer

An Engineer with a gear

Samuel Lock is a free spirit freelance professional photographer. In the area of his specialty Cinematic and street style photography that cannot be replicated. Master crafter of irreplaceable story telling in every single photo curated with skill, Samuel is a director of the shoot.

Another style of shooting that differentiates Samuel from the rest is his minimalist approach. This creates a haunting perception that will be remembered by the audience. Simplicity is not as easy as one think. "It's a challenge to make every shot intriguing and not boring but raw to capture the essence of the subject."

It's not about just shooting it's about designing a personality, a story, a branding that allows the audience to experience the highlight of the concept. Like how a painter does he's work with precision and ideas that he wants the viewer to feel and experience, his world of the story.

Samuel's portfolio involves musician, professional, and people on the streets with consent when necessary. Landscape, cultural scene are also his bias genres.

We want to create an exclusitvity with the client, such moment should be private and we respect PDPA. Not another trending shot, this what we are not! @lock.story IG

Continuos learning is not just a journey, It's a lifetime commitment not by choice!

When someone said he could with confidence, make a difference in someone else's life. I responded, "I may not be able to influence someone but I can change his mindset" When things seems too good to be true it often is. Dream but with logical reasoning and critical think! Life is short to let opinions dictate you.  Facts are guidance or even sometimes rules to break.  Remember how Galileo Galilei was killed due to his discussion and why Qi Yuan jump the river? then there's the president of US
the human mind is biased, we tend to selectively remember things. By recording down snippets of your life. It helps us to better recall the event. Digital imaging helps to further narrate the photograph. but ultimately it depends on the skills of the photographer. Although now with photoshop and AI more things can be edited in and out. the photo would not be called a photo if the subject is not in the shot
